A dream that became a mission
It all began with a God-given vision and years of work searching for ways to help orphaned children and young people in Colombia.
Timeline
Step by step, one life at a time
Genesis 12:1
A dream transformed by a God-given vision.
The foundation is born
CULTIPVA-T is founded and, on July 25, registered with the Chamber of Commerce.
Formalizing our processes
We saw the need to formalize our intervention processes with vulnerable populations in order to facilitate joint action with government agencies.
Ciudad Bolívar
The project begins in Altos de la Estancia with 22 young people, some of them abandoned or orphaned.
Leadership training
Leadership training begins with the young people in the program.
Virtual classroom
We opened a virtual classroom so young people can join a flexible academic program. Through it, 7 children completed their school year.
Catching up with PASE
We took on academic catch-up with PASE: 47 children completed their school year, 2 young people earned their high school diploma and 5 received scholarships to enter formal schooling.
Morada de Gracia
We helped the Altos de la Estancia community formalize the Morada de Gracia Foundation, which continues the work in the area today.
Partnering with the local church
In Kennedy, we first trained community leaders and volunteers, then began supporting children, young people and families in Llano Grande and Pinar del Río.
A new stage
Our own tool to help children and young people in the child protection system build their life project.
The journey
From vision to action
The commitment of the Cultipva-T Foundation began with a dream transformed by a God-given vision. The word in Genesis 12:1 meant years of work searching for ways to help orphaned children and young people under the protection of ICBF, Colombia's child welfare agency.
This journey meant learning about strategies focused on young people who were not adopted within ICBF programs, and about humanitarian organizations offering academic, financial, spiritual, emotional and job support to young people leaving those programs.
The limits of those efforts led Cultipva-T to a more effective path: biblical teaching showed that only God, through the principles and values of the gospel, can transform lives and restore a nation.
What to do and how to do it?
An identity in Christ
Facing difficulties in running a project directly with ICBF, the Foundation answered a request from the Altos de la Estancia community in Ciudad Bolívar, and that is where the process began.
Cultipva-T joined other local organizations to work with young people so they could recover their identity and find a true identity in Christ. Leadership training began in 2022.
We keep working so the Great Commission becomes a reality in the most vulnerable communities.
Transparency
Clear accounts, open heart
The Foundation was established on July 25, 2019 and is registered with the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce under registration number S0056373.
We meet all legal requirements set by the oversight authority of the Mayor's Office of Bogotá.
The funds we receive go to developing our projects and meeting the needs of the communities where the foundation’s involvement is required, to benefit at-risk children, young people and families.
